IAER ROADMAP DEVELOPMENT WORKSHOP For the Electronics Recycling Industry Infrastructure Held in conjunction with The Electronics and the Environment Recycling SUMMIT Wednesday, May 10, 2000 - San Francisco Airport Marriott Hotel Summary Report The IAER conducted a Workshop to initiate the development of an Industry Roadmap that was held during the SUMMIT series of events. It was a full session attended by representatives from a broad cross-section of companies and organizations involved in electronics recycling. Remarkable progress was made in the limited time available to identify priority needs and actions for the industry. OBJECTIVES The objectives of the roadmapping process are to:
WORKSHOP AGENDA Kick-off Session Background information on the issues, challenges and opportunities facing the electronics recycling industry were prepared by teams of industry experts. Breakout Groups Attendees were organized into breakout sessions on each of the four focus areas to discuss needs and actions – facilitated and supported by the IAER Workshop Focus Teams.
